Recipe: Orange Syrup

To make some orange syrup:

get some oranges 

a little orange zest

as little pith as possible

remove skin

supreme

repeat 6 times

make a stock syrup

lob in the orange segments

bring to the boil then turn off and leave 

pass it

bottle once its cooled

job done!

Variations?

Orange goes with a lot of things, here are just a few:

cardamom, thyme, star anise, ginger, chilli, passion fruit, cinnamon, clove, cumin, nutmeg, vanilla, honey, maple . . . and then there’s the booze . . .
